“Tricks and tips for getting here without getting lost”

Getting to La Fonda is not as complicated as it may seem as though we are located in the old city center, we have a very easy access from the N-IV. If you have a GPS navigator, the easiest way is to enter our coordinates, but you can also follow our indications.

And if you have not booked a car yet, we recommend Tour Cars a local car rental company. They are very flexible, helpful, have competitive prices and provide home service.

You should know that...

We are a small family run hotel and our reception is not open 24 hours.

Our usual reception times for checking in are:

From 08:30h to 14:30h and from 17:30h to 22:00h.

Please inform us of your approximate arrival time in between theses times or simply contact us if you wish to check in outside these time. We have a system of automatic check in(to register without the assistance of our staff) if you want to arrive when our reception is closed. Contact us to organise this in advanced.

We are grateful for your cooperation.

Getting to La Fonda from the airport is very quick and easy. DO NOT take the first exit to Jerez Norte, proceed on A- 4 highway direction El Puerto de Santa María / Cádiz up to exit 635 Jerez Parque Empresarial. Follow the signs to "Jerez parque empresarial". At the second roundabout turn to the right, first exit, direction El Puerto de Santa María / Algeciras / Cádiz, old N-IV (about 8 km, 10 min). After skirting the city, passing Garvey winery, Jerez hospital and Área Sur shopping mall (IKEA), proceed until the exit "Jerez centro ciudad / centro comercial" (just after Real Tesoro wineries).

At the roundabout you will see González & Byass' "Bodega Las Copas" and Carrefour Sur, take the sixth exit, Red Cross building. Continue to next lights, at "Cuatro Caminos" roundabout you will see González & Byass winery right in front of you, take the third exit and follow the signs to the police station. Past the arch of the ancient entrance to the city, after a few meters you will have the cathedral on the right hand side and you will get to Plaza del Arroyo, where the police station is on your left hand side. Turn to the left, go straight between the police station and the ancient building of Obispado, we are right behind the police station.
